Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary subject, meant to cater the need of different biotechnology industries. This institute at present offers:

•  M Sc in Industrial Biotechnology Programme

Duration: 2 years consisting of 4 semesters

Minimum eligibility criteria :

Pass or appearing at three year Bachelor degree in Science & four year Bachelor course in Agriculture/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Engineering/Technology/Medicine(MBBS/BDS) from any recognized University.

Admission process :

The University has its own admission Cell and candidates (both state and outside the state) are admitted through an Entrance test “ SAAT” conducted by the university (SOAU) followed by central counseling.

•  Ph.D. Programme

PhD Programme in Biotechnology has already been started and the selection of 2nd batch of candidates for registration has already been completed and selected candidates are doing their coursework.
