Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak , Ph.D., M. Tech., Hon'ble Chancellor, and founder of the Siksha O Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar is a multifaceted personality. Prof. (Dr.) Nayak has been an academician par excellence and is well known for his philanthropic and visionary character. With single minded devotion, he has been working hard to bring about a positive change in the State through education.

He has been championing the cause of the formal education in higher learning in the State since the last decade. His dedicated efforts to introduce professional education in the Private Sector has helped Orissa earn the respect and attention of the entire nation and particularly the corporate world.

Prof. (Dr.) Manojranjan Nayak was born on April 4, 1960. After finishing his schooling, he completed his degrees in engineering from NIT and IIT and later went on to complete his Ph.D in Computer Science. During his short stint as professor, he has the distinction of guiding 36 PG thesis, 14 Ph.D. thesis; besides research and publication in 70 national and international journals, proceedings, conferences publications. His papers were adjudged wining technical papers at various academic forums.

However, the quest to bring top class professional education within the reach of the common man made him establish Siksha O Anusandhan- a non profit Society.

The educational society founded by this visionary entrepreneur with an endeavor to promote quality technical education has within a decade's time flourished into a full fledged university
